1. Pray in the Basilica del Sto. Niño
Located along Osmeña Boulevard, this is one of the most prominent landmarks in Cebu. It was founded in the 16th century and is considered as the oldest Catholic church established in the country. The present church was completed between 1739-1740 and it is the home of Sto. Niño, the oldest religious image in the country. Outside the church you can buy candles from vendors of candles and they were asked what kuang surname of your family then danced to high heaven while praying for your family.
2. Visit Magellan's Cross
Just a few distance from the Sto. Niño Church Magellan's Cross, a symbol of Roman Catholicism in the Philippines. House with a chapel, the cross is said to be planted by the sequence command of Ferdinand Magellan to signify an important event – the propagation of the Roman Catholic faith in the island. It is also a symbol of the colonization of the Philippines in the name of King Philip II of Spain.

Fort San Pedro is a military defensive structure, which is considered as the smallest and oldest fort in the country. The fort is shaped triangle consisting of three bastions – La Concepcion, San Ignacio de Loyola and San Miguel. It is situated in the area now called Plaza Independencia, the pier area of Cebu City.
4. Mactan Shrine Visit
Situated in Lapu-Lapu City, this is a site dedicated to the honor of Lapu-lapu, Ferdinand Magellan, and the battle of Mactan. A life-sized statue of Lapu-Lapu and a painting that depicts the war of Lapu -lapu against Ferdinand Magellan can be seen here. This is also the site of Kadaguan Mactan Festival where a re-enactment of the battle is held every 27th of April each year.
