Benguet Houses Turned Into An Artwork  – As soon as you visit Benguet it will be a unique experience, a lot different experience. Having its creativity from favelas paintings in Brazil, houses situated in Branggay Balili , Stone Hill, Benguet, more than 18,000 hectare of homes transformed into a huge canvass.

The work was started by the Department of Tourism (DOT) as part of the REV-BLOOM project in Cordillera. The design originated from the Tam-awan Village Artists. This is to enhance better tourism within the place in La Trinidad, particularly it is neighboring place, the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio City.

The real reason for becoming selected for beautification is the fact that people pass through this barangay a lot. Foreigners consider this as an eyesore, as they enter the capital.

Many people have volunteered in painting the town, most of which includes residents, policemen, and others. Paint companies have contributed some materials to minimize the cost of the paint.
