I am fascinated when I visited Laswitan Falls in Cortes, Surigao del Sur.
It looks like an ocean waterfalls. However upon looking closely and finding out about it, how does a waterfall end up being on the shore along with the Pacific Ocean at the back?
So the fascination started. Here are the 10 reasons why you should visit and explore Laswitan Falls & Lagoon in Cortes, Surigao del Sur.

2. The waves hover for a moment in the sky that creates a cloud-like formation.. then suddenly falls over the huge black limestone, thus showering gently to people.
3.The deepest portion of the lagoon engorges and produces ripples towards the shallow portion. For non-swimmers, this portion is the best pool to plunge in.
4.Whether you're wading, holding the buoys or perhaps dipping, the ocean shower enables you to lift up your arms and shout for joy.
5.The lagoon underneath the rock formation is so big that can fit as much as 200 people possibly even more.
It is suggested, however, to go to Laswitan from October to March, or during Amihan season, where the waves are more forceful.
