Kasadyahan Festival 2016 – Last Saturday, the 24th of January, the Kasadyahan Festival ” Regional and Cultural Competition” amazed the visitors in Iloilo City.
Kasadyahan Festival 2015 – There are 10 tribes displayed colorful choreography and stunning multi-colored costumes.
A year right after Dinagyang Festival started, the largest festivity in Iloilo – Kasadyahan, was started by the provincial government – that has been at first a Mardi Gras celebration – that can help improve the cultural variety within the province as well as preserve old traditions. The visitors were surprised by a noisy blast from the canyon as contestant from “Sigabong ng mga Kanyon ng Bago City of Negros Occidental” appeared.
Among the best performances was those of Tribu Tatusan coming from Caluya, Antique consists of cheerful 70 performers, 30 band members, 30 props men as well as 60 assistance staff. Not known to a lot of tourists, Caluya offers paradisiacal beaches.

Other participants such as Tribu Pantat ng Zarraga, Iloilo, Tribu Solodnon likewise displayed elegant performances. The 2 famous groups – Maskara Festival of Bacolod City, and Pinta Flores of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental impressed the viewers for their intricate as well as sparkly costumes, and complicated as well as lavish choreography.
When if comes to festivals, no one can beat Iloilo City.
